MRG Supports the 2026 Memphis Walk to End Alzheimer’s
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, team members from Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC will take part in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis. We’re walking for the people we love and the families facing Alzheimer’s and dementia every day.
A personal connection, a shared purpose
This year’s walk team brings together colleagues from eight+ MRG apartment communities and our corporate office. Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia have touched many of us across the company. On Saturday, we’ll walk alongside one another and other Memphis families who know that experience firsthand.
Our team will walk in recognition of people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, the families and friends who care for them, and those whose memories we carry with us.
Wendy Anderson is walking in memory of three grandparents lost to dementia and in support of friends caring for parents with Alzheimer’s.
Sandra Polk is walking for her mother, Ethel Little.
Among those we’ll remember is Nick Ringel, Jimmy Ringel’s father, who helped build this company with his longtime friend Jerome Makowsky.
Supporting care, support and research
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s raises awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association’s care, support and research efforts. That work includes resources for people facing the disease today, alongside research aimed at a different future.
November is also National Family Caregivers Month. We’re grateful to the family members and friends who care for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association offers resources for caregivers, including practical guidance and ways to find support.
For MRG, participating in the Memphis walk is a way to connect a cause that touches our colleagues with a broader community effort.
